The Rent Save Own program is a partnership between Dunsire Developments and Drewlo Holdings. For every month you rent with Drewlo, $400 is credited toward the purchase of a new Dunsire home, up to a maximum of $15,000. No enrollment required — it starts automatically. You must contact Dunsire directly (not through an agent) to apply the credit.
New homes in Ontario are subject to HST. Most buyers qualify for an HST rebate on homes under $450,000. For higher-priced homes, the builder typically assists with rebate maximization. We're transparent about the total cost at every step — prices shown are purchase prices; HST is calculated at time of Agreement of Purchase and Sale.
Yes. Dunsire Developments is registered with both Tarion (Ontario's new home warranty program) and HCRA (Home Construction Regulatory Authority) since 2010. This means your new Dunsire home comes with the full protection of Ontario's statutory new home warranty covering deposit, completion, and defects.
The calculator uses the CMHC 32% GDS ratio as a starting point — the same standard Canadian lenders use for mortgage qualification. It estimates purchasing power based on income and down payment. Your actual qualification will depend on credit score, existing debt, property taxes, and the specific lender. Always consult a licensed mortgage professional before committing.
