Candidate FAQ

Common questions, answered.

Initial response within 5 business days. From application to offer typically takes 2-4 weeks depending on the role: a short screen with People & Culture, a working session with the hiring manager, and a final conversation with senior leadership for director-level roles.
Yes, it's a 12-15 month contract covering a parental leave. That said, Dunsire is growing fast. Strong contract performers regularly convert to permanent roles either in P&C or adjacent functions. Apply if you want a real seat at the table for the next year.
It depends on the role. Site-based roles (Site Supervisor, Service Tech) are on-site. Corporate and leadership roles offer hybrid flexibility, typically 3 days in office, 2 remote, with the trust to flex when life requires it.
For Director roles: 4 stages, (1) screen with P&C, (2) working session with cross-functional peers, (3) deep-dive with the hiring executive, (4) cultural fit with ownership. We move fast, typically 3 weeks end-to-end for strong candidates.
For specialist senior roles where the right candidate isn't locally available, we have sponsored work permits in the past. It depends on the role and timing. Mention your situation in your application and we'll be transparent about what's feasible.
Yes, we hire coordinator and assistant-level roles in P&C, Marketing, Sales, Construction, and Finance. We also run a co-op / internship program with select Ontario universities. Submit your résumé via the general application and indicate you're early-career.
