Rent Save Own is a partnership between Dunsire Developments and Drewlo Holdings. If you rent from a qualifying Drewlo Holdings property, Chorus in Port Colborne is the example community, a portion of your monthly rent is set aside as a homeownership credit, up to a maximum of $15,000. When you're ready to buy, your accumulated credit is applied directly to the purchase price of a new Dunsire home. Full details at drewloholdings.com/save.
$15,000 is the program maximum. Actual credit accrual depends on how long you rent and your specific lease terms. Drewlo Holdings confirms the monthly accrual rate, eligible properties, and redemption rules at the time of lease signing. The credit is applied to a Dunsire new home purchase only.
Chorus is the clearest example of how Rent Save Own works because it was built by Dunsire and is managed by Drewlo, both partners in the program. Yes. HST has been eliminated on qualifying new homes through March 2027, so there's no tax added to the base price, and your $15K Rent Save Own credit comes off that base price on top.
